Elevate Hope House

Since early 2024, Housing First Minnesota has been part of a project that has united our community like never before.  Association members, Housing First Minnesota Foundation committee members and staff, and students from the Construction Trades program at Spring Lake Park High School have all come together to support the nonprofit organization, Elevate Hope House.

Elevate Hope House (https://elevatehopehouse.org/) is an organization that serves young, single mothers and their children in Anoka County, who are needing safe and stable housing.

Through this partnership, we are constructing a three-bedroom home that will serve as a shelter for single mothers and their children in crisis.  Constructed by the students in the Construction Trades program at Spring Lake Park High School, the home is now nearly completed and ready to be moved to land in Ham Lake.

Lennar has generously volunteered to complete the land development and site prep work to ensure the lot is ready for the home. A long list of generous donors and supporters have helped contribute to this project both monetarily, through material in-kind donations, and through hands-on learning experiences with the Spring Lake Park students. Thank you to our amazing partners for your support in this project!
