Renovated two bathrooms and installed new flooring in a Brooklyn Park residence that houses 32 individuals with disabilities.

The Room for Rachel

Renovated a basement to provide Rachel with a place to do her homework, rest, and heal. After Rachel’s long-term illness kept her in and out hospitals with multiple surgeries, she now has a special place of her own.

The St. Michael Foundation Project

Expanded and provided a safe kitchen and stairwell for four men with special needs. In addition to the kitchen expansion, an additional bedroom and deck were added to the home.

Rebuilding Together Trailer

Service Organization: Rebuilding Together Twin Cities
Provided a $2,500 donation to help cover the cost of a new trailer after the theft of the previous trailer. This trailer is used regularly to build and install accessibility ramps throughout the Twin Cities for families in need.


2016

The Bernal Project

Provided a new roof and extensive siding repairs for an army veteran that was injured during the Iraq war.

The Jemelka Project

Repaired a veteran’s 1890s home that had a cement slab sinking into the foundation of their home, causing a wall to buckle. Provided basic home maintenance and the replacement of doors and windows.

The Rohland Project

Replaced a roof for a family in need.

The Westphal Project

Replaced a roof for a family in need.


2015

The Bluebird House

Renovated a single-family home for four medically fragile men. Built an addition of a light-filled great room, a second bathroom and bedroom, more storage, and a first-floor laundry room.


The Dzuik Project

Created a space in a woman’s home to accommodate her extreme sensitivity to light after an unsuccessful brain surgery.

The Marco Solt Project

Built a fully accessible home for a Private First Class and his family. The adapted home in Ramsey, MN featured more than 40 accommodations to provide accessibility for the veteran who lost both legs when his vehicle struck an IED while serving in Afghanistan.


2014

The Zach Mohs Project

Completed an accessible home to accommodate an individual in a wheelchair. After a tragic hit and run, this housing was able to give him a place to continue his recovery.

Funded a dream bedroom makeover for a 4-year-old boy with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Kate the Great Project

Provided a bedroom makeover for a 5-year-old diagnosed with Type 2 Pfeiffer Syndrome at birth, a genetic mutation characterized by the premature fusion of skull bones. She has undergone more than 60 procedures, eight of which were major surgeries for facial, skull and tracheal reconstruction.

The Davidson Residence

Major home renovation that included repairing major structural issues and updating plumbing and electrical systems for a family in North Minneapolis.

Provided repairs to the home of an individual with a brain injury as a result of a car accident.

Vista Village Rehabilitation Project

Assisted in a variety of projects for a 48-unit townhome that serves low-income families and seniors comprised of 73 total residents. Members completed interior painting, landscaping, replacement of all appliances, cabinetry, carpeting, a community room addition, and lighting enhancements.
