The Crisis Facing Minnesota’s Veterans
Every night, more than 170 veterans in Minnesota face homelessness, struggling to find the safety, stability, and dignity they deserve after their service.
The causes are complex — including economic hardship, physical and mental health challenges, and a lack of affordable housing — but the solution begins with a home.
Veteran Village was born from the belief that every veteran deserves a secure place to call home.
Introducing Veteran Village
Veteran Village represents a groundbreaking step in our mission to end veteran homelessness across Minnesota.
This first-of-its-kind community will feature 22 units of supportive housing that will house up to 36 veterans and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Veteran Village is a transformative partnership between the Housing First Minnesota Foundation; Presenting Build Partner, Lennar; the Lennar Foundation; and the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV).
Together, we’re not just building homes — we’re building a stronger, more compassionate Minnesota for those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.
