Lewis House
The Housing First Minnesota Foundation (HFMF), in partnership with 360 Communities, is advancing plans for a new 50-bed, apartment-style domestic and sexual violence shelter in Eagan—enough space to house more than 600 individuals each year. Annually, half of all Lewis House residents are children. As the only domestic and sexual violence shelter in Dakota County, this $14 million project will provide safe, stable housing and critical support services for survivors and their families. In addition, the project will include a Survivor Support Center that will provide inclusive, life-changing services to shelter residents and nonresidents alike. HFMF's scope of work includes the finishing of residential apartment units along with residential build partner PulteGroup. Greiner Construction will complete the commercial construction on this project. This collaborative effort will create a secure, welcoming environment designed to foster healing, stability, and hope.
